The Louisville Youth Group Online


Louisville Youth Group (LYG) is a community grassroots organization that helps and supports young people by providing resources and a safe social atmosphere for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning (GLBTQ) and supporting young people under 21. LYG collaborates with community organizations and youth service providers in training and resource development.

LYG boosts the self-esteem of lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gay and questioning youth by providing a safe space that encourages: positive life choices, healthy interactions with peers and adults, and develops activities in which youth are challenged to reach their full potential. LYG is comprised of men and women, both youth and adult, coming together from all communities to work as one team to break down the traditional barriers that divide us. We envision a universal community that accepts, affirms and uplifts all young people, no matter what their identity.
